Writing assignment 1: poem

Time goes by

20 seconds

Becomes

1 minute

Thinking about horses that fly

What nonsense

I know that horses can’t fly

1 minute

Then

Five

They keep popping up in my head

Strong wings

Suddenly,

the front door rings  

Times stops,

for a minute or two

And then the rings stops too
