A poem:
I think I saw a wobbly cat
I almost looked like a lovely hat
It went around and jumped on the stairs
However, the horrible truth is that no one cares
It was suddenly in danger but
nobody came
The cat actually thought it was somewhat lame
It fell in high speed down the stairs
It is now dead and no one really cares
A passage:
“Paula took off from home
and rushed to the bus stop. When the bus arrived, she went on, and cruised it
to the city centre. She jumped off the bus, and strolled to McDonald’s. She entered McDonald’s, stood in line, and received her food. After getting her
food, she squeezed down at a table, and swallowed her food. She paused, however,
when she observed that a hair was resting in her bag of French fries.”
I feel sorry for the cat :'(
ReplyDeleteI care about the cat :( Why did you kill it in your poem, Ida TT_TT You could've named it Crookshanks :P
ReplyDeleteThe cat poem sounds like something from Dr. Seuss! It seems like Paula was an archetypical American woman, squeezing down at the table ;)
ReplyDeleteI like that it's about a cat! But I'm sad that it died :-(
ReplyDeleteI really like your poem, especially the first stanza :) The second stanza has a bit of an tragic ending.. but it still has rhymes so that is good.
ReplyDeleteI like that your poem rimes and have rhymes, that's really great... but i hate sad endings and it is a bit sad ending the one the cat gets...
